Ayurganic, the new wellness line is a stay-at-home collection that is founded in India in 2015. From their newest lookbook, it is easy to find out their comfortable yet calm concept; instead of fancy design, Ayurganic pays more attention to their quality and cut. In the late years, I am not interested in fast fashion items; conversely, I focus on goods that can easily add some quality into my lifestyles, such as beauty and skin care products or home living stuff. I do enjoy a lot every evening the peace moment after my shower; I apply my favorite body location and then put on the Ayurganic. Ayurganic has the most elegant and comfortable design that is also fine to wear on the weekends as the casual home wear.

The sound of the waves, the soft sand between the toes and the sun on the skin – this sounds like a holiday! A few weeks ago I went to Thailand to just relax, enjoy the peace and just read a book again without thinking about work. A break is more important in our time, and then came a spontaneous holiday but just right. On Koh Samui I let my soul dangle, watched the waves and listened to the native birds singing. Back from paradise, I brought home some exciting Koh Samui Travel Diaries and summery outfits.

For the perfect swimming holiday, I found what I liked, at Weekday. Weekday’s minimalist one-shoulder swimsuit is just perfect for the beach. For this I wear, if it should be a bit more comfortable, an Ayurganic bathrobe made of organic cotton. As you can see from the name already out of the name, Ayurganic specializes in the natural powers of Ayurveda and the best quality for man and nature. High-quality workmanship & materials as well as a piece of luxury for at home or traveling is the keyword here. After a long day in the strong sun, the skin needs a break. Thanks to the light organic cotton this morning or bathrobe clings to the body without irritating it. Especially after a refreshing shower you feel wrapped up in the coat all the more relaxed. From Ayurganic there are other items on the official website, such as pants or dresses, made of supple organic cotton and fair production.

I hope I could get you into a holiday mood or even inspire you on your next trip! Look forward to the other looks from Thailand as well as my tips and tricks for Koh Samui. Was anyone of you on Koh Samui or is the holiday on this beautiful island still to come? I am looking forward to your feedback! Love, Alice.

Our Founder, Hemant Sagar on the power of therapeutic drapes

Lesson: Health is a journey that starts within

Dysco’s annual eco-festival on Sustainable solutions had us head over to Mumbai. Our Founder, Hemant Sagar answered a few questions for Lover Magazine’s May Digital Issue on Ayurganic’s contribution towards making the planet healthy and happy.

“It is by educating consumers about the importance of living consciously, to ensure their improved health, energy and concentration, we have the power to change the displeasing circumstances we thought we had to live with.

The garments or ayurvastra (ayur and vastra meaning health and cloth respectively in Sanskrit) have been permeated with special herbs and oils making them free of synthetic chemicals and toxic irritants. We are not only sustainable, and ecological, we also have a “soothing function” that barely exists elsewhere. Wearing these garments helps restore balance within the body and strengthens the immune system that suffers in the ambient toxicity we live in.”

The Magic of Ayurganic

Clothes are amazingly powerful creations. They have the ability to provide you with a boost of confidence, a shield of armour, or in this case – a total sense of calm and peace. Wrapped up in GOTS certified cotton feels good regardless, but this is more than just a beautiful hooded bathrobe. Ayurganic has created a collection of clothing like nothing I’ve ever seen before.

They’ve blended traditional Ayurvedic principles and rituals into their textile creation process, the fabric is literally treated with hand picked herbs collected by local tribal communities. Spirituality, philosophy and fashion swirl seamlessly together, and this is such an interesting concept for me. “Wearing Ayurganic is an act of responsibility, sustainability and consciousness” – couldn’t have said it better myself. Honestly, take a look at their website. Such a beautiful melding of creativity and spirituality.
